Chicago House Junkiez also referred to as "CHJ", came to form in the spring of 2006 by local Chicago DJ Carlos Vazquez & local event promoter Jose Soto. Dissappointed with the way commercial music dominated the Chicago club scene, their goal with CHJ was to help bring House music back to Chicago's nightlife and give clubgoers an alternative to the usual.

CHJ later partnered up with the multi-talented Veromunkz!™ and began the weekly mid-week residency @ Four Nightclub entitled "Get Your Fix". That mid-week residency helped establish CHJ as a new force in the Chicago House Music scene. Since then, the "Junkiez" have hosted numerous events at Chicago's house music mecca Zentra Nightclub, and their DJ's are constantly in demand at events around the Chicago-land area.
